Bill McDonald is a serial entrepreneur with >35 years of sales and business management experience. His award-winning technology sales career produced >$1B in sales as an individual contributor and included stops at both small and disadvantaged businesses as well as global giants like AT&T, Oracle, Microsoft and Salesforce.
His information technology (IT) management portfolio includes eight years as a direct billable IT consultant to the Federal government, an interim role as VP/Chief Information Officer at a DC government agency, and building a public sector IT consulting practice from the ground up to 60+ highly utilized billable staff.
His entrepreneurial ventures have included an IT consulting business, a mortgage brokerage, and real estate investment and development projects. Bill is an expert consultative seller who focuses on thorough understanding of the client’s business and needs before recommending solutions, and he places the highest value on his character, integrity and reputation. Bill is also a creative innovator that is able to see and articulate solutions and value that would be invisible to most.
Prior to joining TBA-RVA, Bill was an Account Director in the Global Public Sector Sales division of Salesforce. He has also served on several boards including the Prince George’s County Chamber of Commerce, and he is currently Managing Trustee of a charitable organization dedicated to public service.
